Company History

In January 2003 Lark Valley Landscapes became a Limited company.

Now eight years' old, my garden design, construction and maintenance business, Lark Valley Landscapes Ltd., is expanding from its family roots. I, Chris Cooke, now employ eight staff and am concentrating on growing the design and construction side of the business with larger
corporate ventures.

In previous years we were awarded; the landscaping contract at Paul's Malt, Bury St Edmunds - this was to landscape the area surrounding their new maltings, the largest in Europe; the contract for landscaping new car parks at Greene King; we won the landscaping contract for Greene King in Bury St Edmunds, this included preparing their grounds for their 200th anniversary plus an ongoing maintenance contract; undertaking tree work for British Sugar;
maintenance work for UPS; we have also taken on projects for Suffolk County Council Education Department implementing planting schemes in local schools around Suffolk.

Our first design work started towards the end of 1996. Since then we have done many designs varying in size from small back gardens to plots of two acres. The majority of these designs have since been constructed by Lark Valley Landscapes.
